Over the past few months there has been a massive revival in our Club keelboat racing scene, lead by Denis Cochrane our Stadt 23 Western Cape class representative.  It has been awesome to see the growth and enthusiasm each and every race day. 

Early in the new year, four weekends were identified with Keelboat racing scheduled to take place on the Saturday afternoons.  The first two Saturdays saw some great racing and camaraderie, unfortunately due to a lack of wind, the last two race days were abandoned.

Tony Largier on Tequila took the honours on the first race day with four bullets and although he did not have it all his own way on the following race day, he did enough to be crowned as the series winner.  Full results below.

By all accounts, the series was a huge success.  We hope to see more Stadt 23’s and some of the other keelboats at TSC participating in next seasons Club racing.
