STADT 23 SPRING REGATTA SERIES / TSC CLUB SAILING 

NOTICE OF RACE

1. Rules

a. The Series will be governed by the rules as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing.

b. RRS is changes so that the Two-Turns Penalty is replaced by the One-Turn Penalty.

2.  Advertising

Advertising is permitted subject to the limitations of World Sailing Regulation 20. Boats may be required to display event advertising in accordance with Regulation 20.

3.  Eligibility

Stadt 23 Class

a. All competitors shall be in good standing with the Stadt 23 Class Association.

b. The series is open to all Stadt 23 Class Yachts. Club Class All yachts/multi hulls not competing under the Stadt 23 Class.

No Entry Fee

5. Schedule

a. Racing will take place on the following days: Saturday 2 October 2021 Sunday 3 October 2021

b. Skippers briefing at 10:00 on Saturday

c. The Start signal for the first race will not be before 11h00.

d. Four races will be targeted. More races can be sailed at the discretion of the race committee

e. No warning signal shall be made after 16h00.

6. Course

Course will be windward/leeward starting at the Bridge Hut

7. Scoring

a. When fewer that 6 races have been completed, a boat’s event score will be the total of her races scores.

b. When from 7 to 9 races have been completed, a boat’s event score will be the total of her races scores excluding her two worst scores.

c. When from 10 or more races have been completed, a boat’s event score will be the total of here races scores excluding her three worst scores
