TSC Opening Cruise 2018

With winds reaching 50 knots and up to 22 mm of rain predicted, the opening cruise held at TSC on the 25th of August was unfortunately limited to indoor activities. This, however, did not dampen the spirits of the local community drum majorettes and who faced the strong winds and was able to entertain the small audience who showed their interest. The watersport season was officially opened at 12pm and the members who attended the ceremony quickly proceeded to the bar area where a warm fire was burning and cold beers where served. A big thank you to our amazing staff who worked hard to prepare for this day and a special thank you goes to David Booth who raised the club burgee in some trying weather. With bad weather comes good news. We wait in anticipation on the new water level and are excited to see a great season of watersport activities come to TSC.
